How to Create a Digital Escape Room Using Google Forms

Are you tired of giving worksheets for student practice? Let me tell you, if you aren’t then they are! With so much technology innovation available to us, it’s time to take our practice pages out of the dark ages.

The beauty of technology is that we can take something as boring as a worksheet and (easily) turn it into a fun activity in which students are still practicing but are MUCH more engaged. Are you ready for it…

I’m talking about a Digital Escape Room, made using Google Forms. Let me start by saying, you do NOT have to be a Google guru in order to make one of these activities, all you have to be able to do is set a few rules. So don’t be intimidated and keep reading.

If you are a fan of using Google Forms for digital quizzes and assignments, let me teach you how to easily level up to creating a digital assignment your students will love. And the best part is, that this activity is completely self-checking. That means students have complete ownership of their learning experience! (Talk about a HUGE win!)

So all of this sounds fantastic, but is it really that easy…

I’ve created a step-by-step video tutorial to walk you through the process. You will be creating Digital Escape Rooms before you know it! In less than 15 minutes, I might just change the way you do worksheets forever.

Interested in the activity that I created in the video tutorial? You can find it in my Teachers Pay Teachers store along with lots of other types of activities that focus on student engagement and ownership.
