Welcome! My name is Lacey VanBuskirk and I am a Biology teacher in Texas. I have just completed my 6th year teaching. I teach a blend of Regular Biology classes and Pre-AP Biology classes. I have a B.S. in Biology and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction both from Texas A&M University. WHOOP! In addition to teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband Josh, and two sons Aiden and Luke. I am a teacher-mama, boy mom, Jesus lover, coffee drinker, antiquing gal, who loves instilling a passion for science in my students. I enjoy coming up with new and engaging ways to teach my students, which usually means they have to get up, get moving, and get talking! And now all of this has culminated in the creation of Mrs. V Biology my Teachers Pay Teachers store and this blog. I am looking forward to connecting with each of you as I share experiences, ideas, and struggles from my own classroom.
